Families

You might be running out of time!

Are you stuck on what to get a mom in your life for Mother's Day? While flowers, or breakfast in bed are sweet... it is always nice to add a little extra spoiling! Besides, it is always great to have an extra idea if you're wanting to spoil a sweet mamma in your life that isn't your mom, or yourself ;) Maybe you need a mother's day gift for a friend who has been extra special to you this year, maybe you need to spoil a mamma in your church or mom's group that you admire, or maybe you have an aunt or sibling that needs an extra acknowledgement of what a great motherly influence she has been in your life!

Mother's Day Gifts

A few days ago, over on Valisa Henderson Photography on Facebook, I asked moms to weigh in on what they want for Mother's Day, or to share a great idea they had that they might put to use! I figured I'd share them with you! Feel free to comment below if you have other ideas! Or share this post to your facebook to help out some people that might be scrambling! Feel free to use it if you're the "drop a hint" type of mom too! There is one week left! Hop on these things if you need it here by Mother's Day!

  • Mantra Bands! I recently received one of these as a gift from my photography business mentor. It is so very special, for many reasons I don't need to go into... but let's just say God works in mysterious ways! Mine says "What if you fly" From the Erin Hanson quote:

“There is freedom waiting for you,
On the breezes of the sky,
And you ask "What if I fall?"
Oh but my darling,
What if you fly?”

  • Party Box from Wendy with Your Party Made Simple! Miss Wendy has a beautiful party planning service... she does party consulting and can help you plan a digital purchase, she can get you a box delivered all set to go, and quite a few other ways to help. She's also got monthly box features! I'm of course late to the game... and you can't get the Mother's Day box anymore... HOWEVER, the monthly party planning box is an EXCELLENT idea if you've got a busy PTA kind of mamma in your life! Each month's box is themed and makes an awesome go - to resource for any event that you've got coming up!

  • Pamper That Woman! Find a local day spa, massage therapist, or nail salon! One of the suggestions on that facebook post was from a high-school friend, Lacey. She suggested a gift certificate to Mountain Healing Spa in Etna, Ca. I have been here once... it. is. to. die. for!

  • LipSense What Mom wants to spend money on expensive makeup, but rarely does because Kids come first? umm... most of us. haha! One of my "side hustles" is being a SeneGence Distributor... Have you heard of that lipsticl that doesn't transfer, doesn't smudge off onto your kiddo's face... it's seriously so amazing. So come talk to me if you want to spoil that mamma with some smudgeproof, kid kissin proof lip-pretties!

  • Photo Gifts! What kind of photographer would I be if I didn't tell you - that you should collect some images, and get a photo gift put together! You can find awesome ideas with really great quality at Artifact Uprising or MPIX. Create a story board, order stand alone prints, maybe a photo book! Get those memories printed FOR her! <3 This is an especially great idea for grand-mammas! Print a favorite image and getting it framed is an excellent idea as well!

  • Photo Session Gift Certificate! Last but not least, give the gift of capturing a moment, or a life season. A photo shoot is another thing that so many moms WANT to splurge on - but push it away when they feel like it isn't as important to everyone else in the family. Show her that it is. Show her how capturing the memories that are being made in this season of life... is important to you, and that you know it is important to her! My Summer Sessions actually open the day after Mother's day... Photo Session Gift Certificates are available right now though... Simply shoot me an email! This is a great one for grandparents to gift to their daughters! A big ole hint that you want more photos of those grandchildren!

Lifestyle Session - From the client's perspective...

My dear friend Brittany, over at the Muddled Mommy, has been writing more lately. A few days ago while I was immersed in her natural raw expression of parenting and pregnancy... I realized.. "OH MY WORD! I need to have her guest blog about her own photo session!"
Keep in mind, I've already blogged this in home, Lifestyle session myself (You can find that here). But you, my dear client or potential client, don't see these experiences from my side! You see them from the same side as she does... So here is to perspective! Can you put yourself in this position and dream up your own lifestyle family shoot?

Let me introduce you to the queen of mom fails, yes..that’s right, it’s me. There are those moms who have newborn photo sessions done with the birth of each baby (you know, Anne Geddy calendar worthy ones), well my baby got Instagram with a few milestones and some scrunch pooping face ones, (I’m for hire!) sorry kid.
The walls of my home are decorated with hardly any family photos (some from my wedding 7 years ago), I am not a picture person but firmly believe that there should be documentation of the family that dwells within your home. I had been meaning to do a family photo shoot, considering my daughter is 3 1/2, it’s about time. Now the tricky part, my husband feels awkward being told to kiss by a photographer and my daughter rarely smiles for photos, insisting on hiding her face in my chest or shouting a defiant NO! Hmm..Pinterest being my best friend and all, I began a search. After a few scrolls I was introduced to lifestyle shoots. A lifestyle shoot represented what a family was really like, photos ranging from screaming babies to wrestling brothers and you guessed it, a few pooping babies. I was hooked and knew this was going to be the best option for my family.

Cue the entry of my amazing friend, Valisa Henderson, if anyone was willing to step out of their comfort zone with my request it would be her. All it took was a text, “hey what do you think about this?!”, without hesitation she was onboard and we were planning as many details as we could over the phone. I’ve never met a person more willing to serve her friends and clients, this girl drove miles to visit with friends (yes, yes, I’m one of them) and made time for my family shoot before leaving back home. Now this is no easy task, it is exhausting to drive 5 hours..why do I say this? Because she sacrificed sleep the day she was leaving, to be able to provide me with what I had hoped for, first thing in the morning.

We adorned ourselves in normal attire, a blue tee and backwards hat for dad, Z in a mint green top with her hair all nicely done and I in my floral striped top in the most fashionable pair of jeans. The idea of this was to capture the heart of my family and what makes us, US. We had chosen to make pancakes, a favorite in our house, and with Valisa behind the camera, our “lifestyle shoot” began. Now don’t get me wrong, there is still some awkward feelings when anyone is taking a photo of you but, the freedom of being in your own home is unlike any photo shoot I’ve experienced. My daughter was allowed to splash water, break eggs, and get powder on her face. We as a family blew bubbles, read favorite books and played with toys. My husband got to wear a t-shirt and didn’t have to do his hair, total win. What did mom get you ask? Photos that captured the joy and pizazz that make up my daughters personality, you can see that spark of life in her, the one that spreads like wildfire. We laughed, we joked, we splashed, we lived and guess what? None of us had grass stains on our butt or sun in our eyes and best of all, no fits! Life was captured in the sweetest way. From here on out, I’ll choose lifestyle shoots. Pictures will hang upon my wall showing life and joy (maybe a little chaos too) that resonates in our home. You’ll see it, you’ll feel it and be welcomed into it through an image.

Thank you to Valisa for your sacrifice of sleep and time, for your willingness to try and work with the lighting in my home, for capturing the heart of my family and sitting and sharing that same meal with us. You’re not just an amazing photographer but also an amazing soul that has a heart for people. Continue looking at life through the lens, capturing the hearts of families and the start of new beginnings.
— Brittany - the Muddled Mommy

The calendar opens for new bookings again on February 15th! Drop your email here to learn more! What do you think about Lifestyle Sessions? I'd love to hear your thoughts below in the comments. They're becoming a favorite of mine! There is just something so special about documenting real life! <3 Thank you dear Brittany for sharing your view <3 We'll have to do another one once baby #2 and the new house are part of the experience! <3

Scott Valley Family - Fall Photos on the Ranch

Once you've got a little one in the picture, the pressure to make sure you capture your family as close to yearly as possible is pretty high! Can anyone else relate? But oh my word, when you have an active toddler... there is always that concern that you're not going to get anything good!

Do you fall into that fear sometimes? The pressure of needing everyone to look at the camera and make sure your toddlers behave during pictures can be enough to deter you from doing any formal family portraits! That is one thing that I love about the style I've made my own. Sure I'll work you into a posed picture here and there when I can to make sure we can get some "money shots" as I like to call them, but honestly - rolling with the kids and working with them, engaging, playing and having a good time with your family... catches moments you wouldn't otherwise be able to curate.

Koon Family - 2016 - VHP (7 of 36).jpg

And that is exactly what we did on the Koon's property for our Fall photoshoot! I'm pretty happy with how it turned out!! We had a fun time throwing leaves around and exploring! What do you think? Have you hesitated on a family photo shoot because your little one won't slow down? Maybe this will encourage you to follow up on capturing this season of your life!

Siskiyou County Family Photographer - Tessah is Two!

The Brownells are very dear to my heart. Personal friends who have become family to me, I was honored to shoot images of their youngest daughter, Tessah, for her second birthday!

Tee Pee Photo Fur rugs

Tessah’s momma centered the shoot on the adorable kid’s teepee she found, and it went perfectly with the backdrop of the barn behind her sweet munchkins (Don’t you just love the star on the top of the barn?!). Their property is filled with nature and animals; goats, chickens, of course dogs and cats, and at one point even featured a miniature horse on loan. :) We had considered shooting in the field, but fell in love with the monochromatic color scheme of the barn and teepee. The added layering and texture from the fur rug (swoon!) brought everything together. It was the ideal place for a little bit of rustic photography, and perfect for them… not only because of the beauty of the location, but because this place is special for their family. It’s where their children are getting to run free and explore their childhood.

Tessah is independent and determined for such a small person. She loves books and reading, even at a young age. She’s a very happy girl, but she needs to size you up before she lets you see her precious personality. Thankfully she knows me well enough to liven up right away…although she may or may not have been coaxed with candies to continue smiling for the camera, haha!

Included in the mix of birthday fun, were Tessah’s two older siblings, Titus, and Taliah. They are so loving and doting on their little sister, who is very much the baby to them all. It’s clear that she rules the roost. When mothered by Taliah, and asked to “Be cute! Be cute!” Tessah retorted with a whack to her brother and sister, which made us laugh. She is two of course!. Titus and Taliah are both so good with her, and Titus was so admirable to wear his “spencers” to appease mom for the shoot. :)

It was such a sweet session with moments of wondering how our babies are getting so big, so fast. Some of my favorite shoots are getting to capture kids I watch grow up from a young age, and these special people are included in that circle. I can’t wait for more pictures with them!

Do you have a little one with a birthday coming up? Sometimes if it’s not a milestone year, we can overlook the years in between… the growing years. These are the times where our kids are forming memories of their childhood, and ones we want to hold on to forever. If you are looking for a Siskiyou County Photographer to capture a kid’s birthday, or even lifestyle photography, I can help you in that area! Drop me a line or two.

Yreka Photographer Warning - FOR SALE! This is a SALES-Y post!

Haha! I figured I'd fore-warn you! We are all naturally repelled by those creepy salesy posts. "Buy this! You want my services, you know you do!" The thing is they have those silly tricks because... honestly - they kinda work. Mostly because - well - you're likely not just going to come to me unless I remind you that I'm here, especially since my business was kind of non-marketed and sort of hiding for a few years. I'm looking for ideal clients, that value photography as an art and want to invest in making their memories tangible.

Fall is Prime time for Senior Photos!

Fall is Prime time for Senior Photos!

I've looked ahead to my calendar for the Fall Season; between now and November I have 32 slots available for sessions. So here is my point: I'm trying to get those sessions pre-filled! Let's prevent the rush of people coming to me in October hoping to get photos done in time to get Christmas cards out! Or seniors that realize - OH NO! I have 3 weeks left to get my Yearbook photo in! And - we still have some time with the beautiful weather. Get on it!

Are you like Everyone else - Someone that finally thinks of Family Photos for Holiday Cards?... Jump the gun - be ahead of times. Get your Family Session in before the weather changes!

Are you like Everyone else - Someone that finally thinks of Family Photos for Holiday Cards?... Jump the gun - be ahead of times. Get your Family Session in before the weather changes!

I have a trip as well as family coming to visit at the end of September, Wedding to travel to October 1, My bestie's baby is due at the end of November, School is starting (and I'm doing School Pictures for our Church/School this year!) not all in that order... and then of course there is the natural fact that October and November for photographers is like March and April for Accountants.

SO - What do you need to know?
My session fee is $169 (it is non-refundable and you need to pay this to get on the schedule). You get to order prints, wall art, albums, gift prints, and digitals at the ordering session that gets scheduled for after I'm done editing. My Print Sets begin at $200 and Clients can expect to invest an average of $1200 for Wall Art Collections. (I offer custom & standard framing, canvases, metal prints, albums, and holiday cards too!)
I will take care of you and help you through the process, even talk you through outfit choices should you need assistance. Your job is to tell me you want a session, sign your contract and pay your session fee, be in touch with me throughout the planning stage (even meet with me to go over everything if you'd like), show up to your session, and then show up to your ordering session after I've done all the editing. Pick your favorites, then I'll help you select your art and prints, and then wait patiently for me to bring them to you tied together with a pretty little bow!

Now your job is this: Click here to Contact me and tell me you're ready to get on the books for your session this Fall!

Share this post with anyone you think may be interested in a session this season and earn a Starbucks Gift card after your friend books with me! (make sure they mention your name when they contact me or it won't count!)

I can't wait to work with you!

Stockton Family Lifestyle Shoot: Toddlers = Flexibility

Brittany is a really great friend of mine. She challenges me to think deeper, be better, and trust God more. Do you know her? She's like... the most real person you'll ever meet. (Yes I just said "she's like.." Spoken like a true California girl. haha) And there is something so amazingly relatable about that - you just can't help but want to be friends with mom's like her. She lives so far away though, as do quite a few of my close friends. Lodi is among my frequently visited locations (and Stockton). Okay, okay, Mushy Gushy Moment Over. Sorry. This is about them! Jacob and Brittany wanted to do a family shoot but they have.. one of those.. *gasp* ...toddlers. Sweet, adorable, cute... VERY adorable, toddlers. I seriously LOVE the 3 year old age... most days. haha! But oh man - throw off their day, miss a nap, or ask them to eat the bag of fruit snacks you just opened for them instead of the unopened one they want you to open (True story about my own 3 year old!) and you'll pay! Haha, never mind asking them to get dressed, have their hair done nice, expect it to stay that way, sit here, stay here, ok walk to mommy, now talk to daddy, don't hide behind our legs, Look at that big black camera, Watch Valisa act crazy and invade your space... haha!! Sometimes they'll do amazing, and sometimes they are toddlers. This isn't to say that a regular shoot can't go well.. because I've pulled off plenty. I've never really had a regular family photo shoot that includes toddlers go wrong or result in no photos - BUT the lesson here is - Flexibility is key with little ones! SO when Brittany told me that she and Jacob were leaning toward doing a lifestyle session at their adorable, old world, tudor style brick home in Stockton (... She wanted to start with making pancakes *and pause the shoot to eat them* and hang out at home for the shoot... ) I was easily swayed! Hello!? Pancakes! And I'm so happy with how it turned out! Have you considered doing a lifestyle session? Maybe this will seal the deal for you!

Photographer of Growing Familes

You know that phrase I like to sprinkle throughout my account page? "Specializing in Growing Families?" Well This is why! These girls surfaced into my business in 2010? 2011? Somewhere around there. And I've had them one other time as well. I seriously can never be not-shocked at how fast kids grow up!! These girls are no different! They're not little kids anymore at all. It is crazy. Absolutely crazy! Thank you Smith's for having me and interrupting your "staycation" in Scottsdale! It's always so sweet to see you again!

It is one of my absolute favorite things, to follow a family as they grow. I love it! Whether it is kids getting bigger or families growing in number, it is all wonderful!

One thing that sticks with me when I think of them, is that one of my visits back to AZ to shoot, I had these guys for family pictures - and one thing that sticks out in my memory is that they had their Christmas lights on one of those timers that lights it all up to the beat of music! That's the main memory I have of these guys! So random. I know! But it made an impression. haha! Clearly!

Anyway enjoy these beauties!!

I announced with this collection mock up on Instagram a couple of weeks ago that I'm now a vendor for Organic Bloom Frames!

I announced with this collection mock up on Instagram a couple of weeks ago that I'm now a vendor for Organic Bloom Frames!

Carrie gets to be famous on my blog I guess! While I was visiting, I did a session for her business as I posted about yesterday, and then a family session with her and her hubby, and their two boys. AND you might recognize them from my post (link on the left) about how I'm offering Organic Bloom Frames now! These 2 Brothers certainly have that "all boy" thing going on about them! Nerf Guns, Wrestling, Sports, Rough Housing... etc. They're gonna be fun to try and keep up with in High School! They performed amazingly for this shoot - big smiles, lots of patience, and they just stood there looking all adorable! They had some real brotherly moments in the midst of it all that made us all laugh! You'll know the one when you see it!

Do you love this and hope to do a session for yourself soon! Let me know even if you're contemplating a session later in the year! We can get our date settled (Don't forget family photos for Christmas cards.... the season fills up FAST!) Contact me Here to get connected!

Siskiyou County Photographer goes to Phoenix

Haha! BIG trip right? It is when you're driving from lil ole Siskiyou County all the way down to Phoenix. Not Phoenix, Oregon, that wouldn't be that big of a trip! haha... but - Phoenix, Az. We headed down there at the end of June. I chose almost the hottest time of the year. Just happened to be when I could make it work! Oi! :) But I loved that we went, lots of visiting and catching up with old friends and my sister! Thankfully we got a break in the heat and it was under 110 the whole time! Even had couple of double digit days. Unfortunately.... it was humid. ugh. Boo Humidity! Monsoons were hitting the first couple of nights I was there. Anyway - Phoenix! Who doesn't talk about the weather when it comes up? ;) So Why Phoenix? It was where I began my business, so I am often able to connect with past photography clients and give myself a trip to visit friends and family courtesy of my business. I'm so very thankful for that opportunity to reach outside of the Northern California and Southern Oregon area once in a while :)
Do you guys remember this blog post from awhile back where I highlighted one of the main women who encouraged / pushed me to actually create a business out of this hobby of mine? Well here she is again with her family! They resurface with every trip there. I'm so thankful to have been able to document this family growing up!
These guys are a fun loving - full spirited family who have a lot of fun together! The girls of course have grown up and changed a ton. It was so fun to see them and re-connect a little bit!

There is no personality in this bunch is there? haha! ;)

Sibling Photos - Keep Remembering Now!

Doesn't it seem like pictures of your kids reminds you of how cute and adorable they were when they were little? Sometimes as a mom, do you look at the photos that capture the past and go, "What was I so stressed about?" "Look how cute and little they were?!" "They were so much more simple to entertain" or something similar? Maybe you find yourself laughing because that little face they made all time, or the attitude they sported for that year (and used to make you grit your teeth or sigh heavily) hasn't happened in a few years and (even if it made you roll your eyes) it kinda makes you smile now?

Sometimes, (ooor, usually) capturing them now, is more about being able to remember the "now", later. Having their little faces up on the wall that you walk past every day - can remind you how fast this season will fly by. The most recent photos on your walls and shelves can be 6 months old or older... And you already look at them and see how fast they've grown and how much has changed - when just a few months ago it made me think - look how big they are! Time flies! Thanks to images on my walls, I am being reminded daily to soak it up.

I chose these two to go on and on about this subject - because - well one - I needed to blog about them! haha - two - While I look at these two and am amazed at how big they are... (Quinn is the same age as my oldest, and they were best little buds for their early years as I watched her while mom and dad worked, during that learning to talk and play with friends season of life... That time holds a special spot in my heart!) I know that soon... Mom and Dad will be looking back at these remembering good things about this season, laughing about Declan's little mischievous grin, and surprised at how little they were. Hold on, Slow Down!

Aren't they cute?

Mommy & Me at Willow & Wren

Willow & Wren was the perfect spot for the Mommy & Me Mini Session Event! Half of the Session Fees are being donated to Relay for Life! Woot! So excited about that! Our community is pretty involved in Relay for Life and I'm on our local Starbucks' team, "Brewin for a Cure" ...as a former partner and obsessive drinker (coffee), I enjoy being part of the team! So I'm excited that we were able to donate a little extra to the cause. I will be open and honest here and just say that... I waited way too long to launch the program and results didn't turn out as poppin as I had hoped for. Willow & Wren was perfect though! The adorable small town shop belongs to an old high school friend. I'm so proud of that Girl-Boss! Runnin your own business is no joke! And seriously this shop is so stinkin adorable. This place had me drooling over it the minute I walked in! This is future studio material we're talkin! Some-day you guys.. someday. #goalsetting ;) lol
ANYWAY, I digress.. lol - However low the turn out, I did get to reconnect with a childhood friend and her adorable little girl. Mellisa and I used to meet up at my dad's property after school I think at the end of JR. High and beginning of HS. Her grandma was a caretaker for my grandma. I had a horse there, an old sweet learner horse for me ;) and we pretended to totally know what we were doing, rode poor Sugar around town until she was sweaty, spent the days outside, or scrounging for money to go get Dottie's, and all was good! We have "reconnected" on Facebook over the last couple of years but we haven't met up, or talked much at all until she inquired about the Mini Sessions. She has not changed a bit! She has become a beautiful Momma, she has such a sweet disposition and is doing a great job with her little girl! Who by the way is such a ham! I feel so blessed to have been able to reconnect with her for the shoot and our ordering session and capture this sweet season for them.
Happy Almost Mother's Day!! I hope this brightens your week!

Little bit of Love!

2 Things: 1- A new look will be rolling out soon for VHP! and 2 - I love Pinterest. lolI suppose its thanks to Pinterest that people are constantly "overthinking" photo shoots, and doing up styles and themes! I still often and mostly shoot the standard, but once in a while a client... usually a friend - will join with me in making sure we have lots of good, or a few of the perfect, props and setting pieces and we create something spectacular! Over the last couple of weeks I've had 2 shoots like this that just turned out so beautifully with just a few accents!

A&Z K Family

Maybe its the whole blanket theme that makes it work? I don't know.. its just perfect! - I will say these are probably two of my favorite shoots ever! And they just fell into place perfectly!

Back in action!

Wow, I haven't officially been working my photography business for almost a year - but as I'm compiling some photos to show you what I've been up to in the mean time, I realized I certainly stayed busy enough for being "out." I seemed to take shoots on ANYWAY - despite not promoting at all. I kiiinda have a little problem with saying no ;) Life is going going going as always! We've moved (yes again, this time locally), we're expecting baby number 2 in June! And we've both been working full time! I recently went back down to working only 3 days a week at my "real job" - to save on daycare and gas costs! And am now I'm using that time to take care of our home and coming back to my business!

Being in this profession can be rough in a small town, There are a lot of photographers out there... But! It'll be just fine :) I take pride in doing my best to create something with an extra "umph" and a bit of "something different." And those looking for what I offer, will be happy with that!

I believe it was last summer that I posted any full preview sets... (A couple weddings, and some senior portraits) So the photos to follow are a bit of everything since that time.

Don't forget to check out what I offer and what to expect for investment in the "Prices" tab. And enjoy staying up to date with me on by liking Valisa Henderson Photography on Facebook!

Some Garnicks... {Maternity and Child Photography}

Garnicks!... well some of them at least...I stayed with them while i was there for this AZ trip!! :) Another birth I was bummed to miss out on though! *sigh* I've been shooting these guys since Natalie's newborn shoot! (I think we did newborn, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year... and something else in between?) So needless to say- I was sad to miss the birth of Nicholas! Just by a couple of weeks. However, I was glad to be able to get a few pictures of Katie and that belly! I think Nicholas must have been laying straight out - head towards her back - and feet out towards the belly button! :) I think a few of us wondered if maybe... just maybe... a twin would arrive and surprise everyone :) ha! But no no.. Nicholas was just stretchin out in there I think! Natalie tried really hard to not smile at me throughout this little shoot... It didn't exactly work :) Enjoy!

Harris Fam! {Phoenix Family Photography}

AGH! More loyal clients :) A family close to my heart for sure! <3 Carrie quickly grew to become my "Arizona bestie" after meeting ;)! Brayden and her were hang out buddies for Brooke and me throughout our time in Phoenix, always up for crafting... having extra kids in the house, or help keeping each other OUT of the house! She helped a lot too when I had an extra toddler in tow :) (Quinny <3 )! Many days at the mall play place, the zoo... splash pad... never ending searches for new boba places... etc... then add the many frustrations and scares through Carrie's pregnancy with Jamison... And being able to capture like 5 different maternity "shoots" ;) and his first moments of life.. *sigh* Lots of ties into these people for sure! OH - and lets not forget that Brooke made a real impression on Brayden's life apparently! We've been gone for 11 months now - and Brayden has an imaginary Brookie that he plays with all the time from what I hear! :)Anyway - on with the show! I just love these pictures! Even though I'm a bit biased :) Enjoy!!

{A Shot of Yeager} Phoenix Family Photographer

The Yeager family! Christina is the photographer over at A Shot of Yaeger and contacted me when she heard I was coming to Phoenix. Of course, I know how she feels! The WHOLE family (including her) in front of the camera is a rare occasion :)I was honored to capture this beautiful family! She has the clothing "what to wear" coordination down for sure! And they are all adorable! I loved our evening together!!

And of course, a portrait of JUST the photographer :) As I remind all clients: Please remember, you will receive a disc of your photos with no logo on them. Please do not crop out or hide logos (even when using as a profile picture on Facebook). Feel free to share these pictures, the blog post, etc… These are meant to hold you over while waiting for your disc – Encouraged use: sharing, using as profile pictures, tagging friends.. etc

{N Family} Phoenix Family and Child Photograhy

Little miss Lillian... So serious! In front of the camera at least! :) I had this adorable face featured before... also mostly serious though! Silly girl! She has such gorgeous eyes and lips though - the serious look works for her!It was great exploring Heritage Square with these three! Per Lillian - we pretty much followed the cats around the whole time :) Oooh! A hint of a smile! As I remind all clients: Please remember, you will receive a disc of your photos with no logo on them. Please do not crop out or hide logos (even when using as a profile picture on Facebook). Feel free to share these pictures, the blog post, etc… These are meant to hold you over while waiting for your disc – Encouraged use: sharing, using as profile pictures, tagging friends.. etc

Joe, Julie, Quinn and Declan {Phoenix Family and Child Photography}

Special family in my heart for sure! I used to watch Quinn during the day for a while when we lived in Phoenix - she and Brooke (my daughter) are only a week apart ;) it was a trying time some days - as watching toddlers learning to share and play together can be... but oh so fun :) We miss them terribly and hate that we aren't around to see Declan more! But it was awesome to meet him and see them all again!Enjoy the previews! <3 As I remind all clients: Please remember, you will receive a disc of your photos with no logo on them.
